Open Space

Created on-site with everyday objects and materials gathered in Los Cabos, this installation by Abraham Cruzvillegas emerges directly from the landscape that surrounds it.

The work brings together paint and steel to explore labor, self-construction, and what the artist calls his “mineral soul,” or ánima. More than representing Baja California Sur, it is made from its materials, stories, and energy.
